Our salads

Monday Greens was born from a simple frustration: watching our loved ones microwave “fresh” food in plastic trays from meal delivery services, all while learning more about how much plastic contaminates our food supply. We wanted something better for our families, something truly fresh that was more convenient than DoorDash.

So we started making 20 salads a week from our home kitchen, dropped off at our parents’ and siblings’ doors every Monday. Close friends then asked to join. Twenty salads turned into thirty, then forty, then fifty. By the time friends of friends were asking, we moved into a commercial kitchen and set ourselves a new goal: to make the world’s best jar salads.

We’re not professional chefs (yet), but we’re passionate and committed. Every week we test, taste, and refine our recipes. Some weeks we nail it, some weeks we learn. We’re confident that, over time (with your feedback!), we’ll deliver salads that are genuinely exciting to eat each and every week.

A few things that set Monday Greens apart:

  • All dressings are made fresh with simple, wholesome ingredients: organic olive oil, quality vinegars (red wine, apple cider, balsamic, champagne, and more), natural sweeteners like local maple syrup or honey, fresh herbs, spices, fresh-squeezed citrus, fresh ginger, etc. For creaminess, we use Greek yogurt instead of mayo or eggs. Our dressings are health tonics in themselves.

  • We use organic produce, and prioritize local and seasonal.

  • Pulses (beans, legumes, chickpeas, etc.) are cooked from dry for maximum freshness and nutrition.

  • Our salads are built to deliver multiple servings of fruits and veggies, plus protein, fiber, and healthy fats. Adding avocado or your choice of protein (chicken, salmon, tuna, eggs, etc.) takes the nutrition through the roof.

  • Even if you’re not a salad person, starting the week with a couple of nutrient-dense meals can be a powerful momentum-builder.

We are excited you’re here and look forward to bringing fresh greens to your door soon.
